Capturing Authentic Patient Stories for World Cancer Day

Project Overview

Releaf is dedicated to providing safe and effective access to medical cannabis for patients in the UK. Their patient stories play a crucial role in educating and reassuring individuals considering treatment, offering real-life insights into the benefits and experiences of those who have benefited from Releaf’s services.

Our objective was to create patient testimonial videos that were real, authentic, and emotionally compelling. These videos needed to not only share genuine experiences but also serve as a powerful marketing tool across Releaf’s digital channels. To complement these testimonials, we also developed a supporting social media campaigns to maximise engagement and reach.

The Solution

To ensure authenticity, our shoots were on-location at the homes of Releaf patients, creating a comfortable and familiar environment where they could openly share their experiences. One of the key interviews featured a patient diagnosed with cancer, providing a deeply personal perspective on how Releaf’s products have supported their treatment journey.

Our approach focused on:

  • Capturing Real Experiences: By filming in the patient’s home, we were able to create a relaxed setting, allowing for candid and heartfelt storytelling.
  • Addressing Key FAQs: The interview questions covered common concerns and queries potential patients might have, providing valuable information for those considering Releaf.
  • Highlighting Releaf’s Doctor-Led Approach: The testimonials reinforce Releaf’s commitment to professional medical guidance, ensuring patients feel confident in their treatment options.

We delivered this project from concept to completion within a short timeframe. This meant handling every aspect of production, from initial ideation and planning to executing the shoot and post-production editing. We worked closely with Releaf to define the key messaging, and create a structured yet natural storytelling format that delivered high-quality marketing assets ready for immediate use across their channels, including social media, website, and digital advertising campaigns.
