Azeez Rahmoni – Production Manager – 1FitLife

Azeez Rahmoni, 31, joins the 1FitLife team as their recently appointed Production Manager, having recently completed his Masters Degree in Media and Communications at Bournemouth University, following a successful TV career in Nigeria.

Here, Azeez opens up about his professional and educational background, focusing onhis passion for content creation and cinematography.

Azeez says: “I’m lucky to have had a fulfilling career in Nigeria, where I worked with a number of film and production companies, both behind the camera and in post- production. I worked on Nigeria’s Big Brother and Ultimate Love, which is the Nigerian version of Love Island. I’ve also loved working on pop music videos and live event production.

“I am passionate about creating both entertaining and educational content for 1FitLife’s clients. I can bring experience from my TV career to ensure that fitness content is visually exciting, socially engaging and in keeping with a particular brief or end user specification. I want to bring charisma to the fitness market.

“People are bombarded with high-end visual content through their TV’s and on social media platforms; fitness content has to compete with what our eyes are used to seeing. Just like a TV show, it has to be filmed well, with the correct cast, in the perfect setting, and with slick post production and editing. Fitness content really has to speak and deliver to the end user, and I’m here, as Production Manager, to ensure that 1FitLife’s wellbeing content is inclusive, diverse and speaks to its client’s target user.”

Azeez has got off to a flying start at 1FitLife and is already creating content for Slimming World, David Lloyd, Fitter Stock and Abu Dhabi 360.

Azeez concludes: “The team at 1FitLife are really creative and I’m excited to be part of the team, creating lots of compelling digital content for 1FitLife and its partners, as well as making Bournemouth my home for the foreseeable future.”
